The care of our plants

in The plants in our homes give us joy and warmth, are part of our decor and need our care to be always in a position, it is nice to see the plants dead and it is critical that if you like spend the time they require .

In addition to watering, you must be careful so that its leaves are always bright and free of dust.

A good home is made, pass a cotton swab dipped in milk, leaf by leaf backwards and forwards, and pass as many times as necessary, until the cotton comes out clean.

Another way of cleaning is wiping a cloth or sponge with a few drops of glycerin, rubbing gently, in addition to brightness; dust does not accumulate in the leaves.

The task will be simple if our plants have large leaves, if instead we have a small leafed plant we will have to muster more patience, but with the assurance that the results will be optimal.

Attention and care will provide the basis for our plants will last longer with us, and look radiant in our home.

The work ahead

We are now up in May 2011 and the nature resumed her rights. In the mild spring this month, the gardeners would be well advised to get active! Indeed, it is a time for great work!

Let’s start with the vegetable garden. Now is the time to plant tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, zucchini and melons, but butter beans and potatoes.

Side of the orchard, the young apple, pear and cherry trees are very susceptible to damage by pests. Better to spray a fungicide, then again when the buds have bloomed.

In the garden, we arrive at the final date for planting the bulb plants that will flower in summer or autumn.

It’s also time to plant begonias, geraniums and flowers that bloom every year in summer as nasturtiums, cosmos, and sunflowers. Think well before planting, to establish a thin layer of potting mix and compost.

Prune lilacs, forsythia and roses dispose of their spent flowers. If some of your flowers may collapse under their weight (such as peonies or dahlias), please install guardians. It is also time to cut the flower stems of irises, daffodils and tulips.

Regarding indoor plants, orchids should be watered thoroughly, Clerodendrum, Anthuriums and bougainvillea.

Finally, add fertilizer every two weeks for your garden, Guzmania, Bougainvillea and Hibiscus.

Illuminate the garden

One of the things that allow you to enjoy this outdoor space, even when the darkness shows the tip of his nose, is how light it by installing lighting.

1. Identify the space to illuminate

The first thing is to know delineate the space you want to illuminate. Indeed, if you entrust the task of illuminating the whole of your garden you will not see the end of the final effect rendered more likely to be rather excessive and tasteless.

So the first step is to observe your garden and its different forms like you never did it. So you are interested in places that play with light and shadows, bumps, irregularities in your field that would be even more accentuated by the placement of lights.

With this first tip, you can create a genuine single to arrive from the darkness.

The lights are decorative to enhance your trees, your mass, a flower bed, but also your trails, your terrace, highlighting the characteristics and habits of your garden, it’s giving it a unique atmosphere.

2. The choice of lighting

As in your inner space, the choice for outdoor lighting is quite broad. So you can bet on energy saving light bulbs, systems emitting diode (LED) is revived by taking off more weight. This type of lighting is perfect if you want to bet on a relaxed and rather romantic. Another green light but a bit more expensive is exploiting solar energy. It gives you a dim light for ten hours after sunset.

If instead you want a light box, then the halogen is more appropriate.
